From the NYE in question. |
So this made me think about why I don't blog more often.
My problem is that I view blogging like journaling. If I'm going to take the time to sit and write out an occurrence or event, I want to remember all the details, and frankly that's not for everyone to read. I want to respect other people, my husband, my family, my friends, and myself. Especially now, with the added title of "Priest's Wife," I want to be mindful of privacy.
Best day ever. |
I want to share my frustrations, the highs and the lows, the good, the bad... all of it! But I can't. (Well technically I could, but I won't.)
Also, I'm too scatter-brained to stay on one topic. I could possibly designate a day for each topic, but I'm definitely not type-A and therefore not motivated to do anything like that. (Which frustrates me because I admire so many other bloggers out there who can blog all week about DIY and home happenings and I try to compare myself to them... which is unhealthy.) I also don't always feel like taking pictures of what I want to talk about or organizing them. Therefore, this is my blog and I'll do what I want. :)
I want to do a post of before/afters of our apartment... once we get to the "after" stage! |
Things I want to blog about:
-Wife Life
-My cat, Bella
-Food
-Fitness
-Adventures
-Future dreams
-Photography
I also don't want to do this for people to read, because if I have that mindset I'll get a little hurt when people don't read it, but for those of you that do read... thank you!
